March Refuge Refresh - Slow Down & Enjoy the Details

(You can access the actual email with formatting and images HERE).

Hi Refuge friends,

I love Spring! This morning I was walking, enjoying the sunshine, noticing the trees that are starting to bloom and listening to the birds chirping. It was a great time to just slow down and enjoy the details. Sometimes we’re running around so rushed from one thing to the next that we take the small details for granted, don’t we? (Or maybe I’m the only one! haha) My encouragement for you today is to take time to slow down and enjoy the details—whatever that might look like for you. Getting out in nature and enjoying God’s creation is a great way to start!

Have a great day and as always, remember that I’m here to help if you need anything at all.

-Tim

Why did the dollar go to therapy?

Because it had too many issues with change! 😂

Did You Know?

Medicare C-SNP Plans

Chronic Condition Special Needs Plans (C-SNPs) are a type of Medicare Advantage plan designed specifically for people with certain chronic health conditions like diabetes and heart disease. These plans are becoming increasingly common and often include more tailored care, coordinated support, and benefits designed around managing those specific conditions. What many people don’t realize is that if you qualify, you can enroll in a C-SNP at any time during the year—not just during the typical Medicare enrollment periods. For the right person, this can be a valuable option to improve both coverage and care.

Survey Says:

Too Expensive?

Nearly 4 in 10 Americans say they need more life insurance—but many think it costs far more than it actually does. That misunderstanding alone keeps a lot of families from getting coverage they need and likely can afford.
